Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all members of Virtual Organisation MPI-Kickstart,
hereafter referred to as the VO, with reference to use of the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI),
hereafter referred to as the Grid.
The VO owns and gives authority to this policy.
The MPI-Kicktart Virtual Organization brings together sites and users inetrested in improving MPI reliability across the Grid.

Members and Managers of the VO agree to be bound by the Grid Acceptable Usage Rules, VO Security Policy and other relevant Grid Policies, and to use the Grid only in the furtherance of the stated goal of the VO, which is the promotion and improved reliability of MPI across the Grid. This involves MPI configuration, tuning, test runs, running large or long-term MPI jobs, and similar.
Using the resources in ways not relevant to the proclaimed goal, and especially preventing other users from pursuing that goal, is in direct violation of this Policy.
