Description

The goal of the VO is to do long-term tracking and collimation studies for the LHC and its pre-accelerators. The main tool is SixTrack, a simple tracking code fully debugged and optimized for speed. This FORTRAN77 code has been jointly developed with the IT specialist Eric McIntosh over the last 15 years. All LHC tracking studies including for collimation have been performed with this code. The Grid user community is exclusively the ABP group of CERN. Several tracking studies for the LHC and there pre-accelerators can presently not be performed due to the fact that our resources are insufficient.
